SPRINGFIELD, Mo. – McKendree claimed the 2019 MIAA Bowling Championship at Andy B’s in Springfield, Missouri. Most Outstanding Bowler of the Tournament went to the Bearcats’ Hope Gramly.
MU won their second consecutive MIAA Bowling title behind a 4-0 sweep of Central Missouri in the final match of the 2019 championship. UCM forced the decisive winner take all match after it knocked off McKendree 4-1 in the second game of the day.
The Jennies won four straight elimination games before they ended as runners-up. It was third Championship in a row that Central Missouri and McKendree faced off for the MIAA bowling crown.
The NCAA Bowling Championship is April 11-13 in Cleveland, Ohio. The NCAA will announce the field of teams competing on March 27 at 4 p.m. on NCAA.com
